I'm the Felting Fairy, but please call me Denise!
I'm a Canadian fibre artist, based in the Greater Toronto Area.

Inspired by music, nature and animals, I design and create handmade needle felted sculptures using a wide variety of wool fibres and textiles.

I use specialized barbed needles that grab fibres, much like Velcro, and condenses wool to sculpt forms.

I poke the wool (and sometimes myself) with the needles thousands of times until I achieve the shape and feel that I want.

I enjoy personalizing and customizing my art using mixed media and miniature accessories.
